UNB coach Bill MacGillivary had the bulk of fhis team back, but had to replace Gord Hubley, so he added John MacLean (backup in 73-74) and Gary Bernard cane up from James M. Hill in Chatham, Regulars added were Dick Forsythe, Pat Morrissette, Don Kinsman abd Tony Mais, while Charlie Miles became a regular.

It was a forgettable season where the Devils were only able to beat up on St. Thomas and finished with a 7-10-1 record. They had nobody anywhere near the leading scorers and the team leaders were Danny Gill (9-19), Doug MacDonald (7-16), Alan Archibald (12-10), Gerry Grant (12-8), Larry Wood (8-12 in 10 games) and Mike Barry (10-9). Mike Kohler led the team with 76 penalty minutes and was a point per game man from his blueline post (4-14). None of the new players scored much.
